Boomerz BBQ opened its doors in Maryville, Tennessee in September of 2007, but they’ve been around much longer than that.  A couple of friends got together years before with the idea that they would have a good time cooking up some BBQ for a bunch of strangers over a long weekend up in Townsend, Tennessee at the annual Old Timers Festival.  They knew all along that the food was good, but it was there that they discovered that they just might have something better than the average run of the mill recipe for barbeque.
